Well finding stock Leather Seats will be a challenge. My understanding is that the Leather Option was only 18% of the mix, pretty rare. Also the heat and cold options have nothing to plug into. You might look into having seats recovered with Leather. FYI, You might find the bolstering in the Recaro very forgiving on long drives and a e great if you Perfomance drive the car.

FYI it's not Ricardo but rather Recaro race seats and they are stock seats in your GT350. The modification your contemplating will significantly devalue your car. You might consider trading your car in on a special order for the model you want.

I too could not stand the Recaro seats in the GT350 (really weird as I had them in my Boss 302, GT500, Focus RS but they blew the comfort aspect in the 350).

So.....
Out with the old Shelby driver seat

In with a new Mustang power seat that I found on CL

I have the matching passenger seat but am on the fence about putting it in...I have had no riders complain.

I know most people love the Recaros, but I personally have the heated and cooled leathers and I am really happy about it. The purpose of my car is to be a bit more of a GT and I definitely them to be a lot more comfortable. I also prefer the way they look. My opinion seems to be the opposite of most so it shouldn't be hard to find someone who wants to do a straight up swap I wouldn't think.

Locally, I have seen a few Recaro seats modified by upholstery shops. But it was more "cosmetic" or adding aftermarket heat. From the questions I asked while there, the modifications were not so much structural. Most of the foam and frames were kept original. One set had some foam shaved down to lower the driver, but kept the overall squeeze of the seats.

Most seem to sell, trade or swap out sets if the don't like them. I am in a similar boat the other way. I don't care for my Heated/Cooled leather seats.
