My hood on the passenger side where the front point of the hood meets the fender is a 1/4 to 1/2 inch higher than the drivers side

    don
    Don,
Did you ever get your hood leveled out? My brand new 2018 is higher on the hood-to-fender gap on the drivers side, but only in the middle of the hood, not the front or back.

I was noticing some hood alignment issues with my 2018 too. Not bad, very subtle but still there. I was debating about loosening and realigning.

Yea, but since mine is more like it's bowed or the arch is greater on one side, it seems not to be an alignment issue as much as just a different body line on the hood from left to right, which doesn't match the line of the fender.

Went to my local Ford Dealer today, a big store. No knowledge of bulletin. Won’t even order parts ( after looking at car) until a Tech diagnoses it? What’s to diagnose? Now it will take two drop off visits to do a few hour job. oh, and to make matters worse, parts are already on backorder, 2-3 weeks!

That is stupid and a waste of time and money.

Are you near Brentwood - Contra Costa County. Bill Brandt Ford Brentwood knows exactly what to do. They ordered up everything before I dropped off mine. Did a fine job.

I recently had the rear bumper cover TSB fix applied to my car. My sag was not too bad to start with. The gaps look much better. My Ford dealer had only done one prior to mine and claimed that it didn't help much on that car. Very satisfied with my outcome.

I want to get mine done to, which dealer did you use in NJ, mine didn't do one yet and yours sounds promising. Did they do it or send it off to their body shop?

I had mine done at the dealership where I bought it in Delaware. Carman Ford. They have their own body shop.

Hey JT, older thread I realize, but did you ever get your rear fascia repaired? Mine's bad as well, but have seen a couple that were repaired and not looking much better... My inherent distrust of dealership mechanical prowess, is definitely a factor to have waited this long, but I really would like to eliminate that irritating gap.
