Interesting! Thanks for posting the pics mspenc45. If I see the sage get worse on mine, I may get brave enough to do it. It looks simple enough.

mspenc45 are those screws directly behind the tail lights? Is that all that needs to be removed to install them? Thanks and nice work.

Ditto, thanks to mspence45 for the detailed pics...I too am about ready to R&R the rear bumper cover to get it right. I've already had the tail light housing out as well...

This was the first thing I looked for when I picked up my car this month. I had read about it and seen enough cars to expect the "saggy bumper gap". Fortunately, mine was not that bad. But I'm not hopeful that gravity won't win out. Especially after some track time. Right? Oh well, I knew it going in. I'm not going to let it bring me down from my barely 400 miles euphoric high. This car is amazing.

Soon as I read these posts I ran out to check mine. So far no problems, and I haven't heard about this with the 2018 models so maybe Ford fixed it. Hopefully. I understand the euphoria. ;-). Great car, enjoy!

Nope I've seen a couple of 18's on the showroom floor that already had it. Even those cars on showroom floor that don't show it usually get it after driving them awhile.

Bummer. Well, I've had mine since Nov. 2017 and no bumper issues, so I guess they don't all have the problem for whatever reason.

Thanks guys for making me look again, after about one year and 3K miles (and a couple track days), mine has started to sag. Damn. Has Ford addressed this with a countermeasure yet?

Yes - I posted on the official Ford Repair. There is a kit from Ford that seems to solve the problem.

That kit is like a bandaid fix. Some have had it done and it looked better and some it was worse. The TSB doesn't guarantee it will fix it. Theres drilling, screws etc. involved. And pay time Ford is allowed to do kit is not near enough time to do it. So hard to find a dealership that will take time to try to get it right with pay allotted time. Like flipping a coin and hoping for the best. As much as I don't like it I'll just leave mine alone.
