Just used version in can, a good quality enamel. Just took them off and did on kitchen counter (small artist paint brush). Coil Covers don’t see 200 degrees. More than 6 months and no peal.

so I'm thinking putting in some time and masking it off and using the high-temp engine paint they sell in the auto parts store.
I know you haven't had a problem, but just thinking if I'm going to do this why not take it to that next level..

Thank you. I found some paint that closely matches my car color to paint the "SHELBY" on the chin spoiler, so I guess the hunt is on now for some high temp orange that sorta matches the exterior paint for the coil covers. Red looks great on JimT's car but I'm thinking an orange might look better on. mine.

I am so Freaking Torn. I found a real small paint chip on the roof of my car. Almost the same spot as my Roush 427R, when I first bought it. We had about ten days of crappy weather here in SA, I don't remember being behind any big trucks, but when I finally got to wash my car I noticed it. I used touch up paint, but it me, it sticks out cause I know it is there. Now debating if covering the roof, which I should have done from the beginning anyway.

    Lol.

Real question, how does it lay over the lip on your strips? Can you see the air pocket line along the stripe? Gotta fix a rock chip first, but I gotta do this.

you can see a slight air pocket along the stripe. however, it is not that noticeable. I would rather see that instead of rock chips on my paint. It is my second red car, ad chips really stand out.
