I use a can Borla sent along to me as a gift and it works fantastic. I really don't get a lot of soot build up anyhow, so it's mostly just to make it shine before meets and shows.

Any know the Ford part number for the valance exhaust tips only (pic), not the valance and tips? Mine are badly stained and polishing is working to my satisfaction.

You can definitely clean them up... if it's that stained you're going to have to go a bit more aggressive.

Just an example of the above, it's going to take some elbow grease for sure. At this point, you're at a stage where you can destroy it and replace it so don't think twice about it just do your best to clean it up otherwise, you know you'll be purchasing another.

Thanks. Good point re nothing to lose by a more aggressive product.

Stumbled upon this looking for polish in my cabinet.

Seafoam makes a spray for removing carbon from carbs and intakes. It’s amazing, all you need for GT350 tips. Just spray it on a rag and clean away.

Sorry, just saw the sponges above this post.....that’s a terrible idea.
