Question Has anyone found performance brake pads ?

Have recently had some problems with front pads on 2016 unit.
Dealer has ordered replacement pads ( on back order ). Will install without cost.
Have EBC pads on other cars. Happy with performance, no problems.
Checking online, can't find performance pads for gt350, except for Volschlag ( spelling ? ) out of Texas.
Has anyone found a source for performance pads ?
    Thanks
    Tim

What issues are you having with pads? I took mine in for the oil cooler retro and asked them to check the squeal from the brakes they are replacing the rotors as that is all they could come up with.
Regarding pad, I have gone to Hawk Brakes direct to find a pad for my GT500--they were able to match it with a Ferrari and Lexus pad. Maybe they can be of help

    hello Michael,
after 1,000 miles of driving with no issues, the left front brake pads started throwing off excessive brake dust and the rotor exhibited a 4" ring of what appeared to be rust on the outer diameter.
service tech checked the pads, cleaned up the rotor, somewhat, couldn't explain it. suggested it was not a safety issue. waiting for replacement pads to arrive. in view of what you mentioned perhaps a replacement rotor is in order.
will check with Hawk. thanks for referral.
will let you know what develops with my brake issue.
    tim

I will do some research as well These pads do throw off a lot of brake dust--you would think I was driving a BMW Unlike yours, both of my fronts throw off a lot of dust but the wear pattern is as expected. Some pads can be defective, the last pair I put on the rear of my track car (2009 ShelbyGT500), the one pad wasn't flat at all Only had about of 1/2 inch of contact it was so bad

I bought a set of G-loc R12 brake pads at front. They work very well. Only makes very little noise at low speed. Just as good as OEM brake. But they last much longer than OEM pads do.

I abuse the heck out of my stock pads and have had no issues. They track well at a high speed track and then still perform on the street. They are really dusty though. I drive it around the block and need to clean the wheels.

Ditto, I have both - lots of dust (to be expected with high performance brake rotors and pads) but the squeal is a pain in the ears. Only squeals when I'm using them lightly around town. Back in the days of Eld, we would apply a brake pad silencer compound to the rear side of the pads and most times it worked very well. I may look into this as the brakes feel fine and no unusual rotor wear nor warping, etc.
