Cat deletes are not legal anywhere, period. That's a federal thing. Now moving on from that tidbit...what comes into play is your locality laws, emission requirements, and your tolerance. Example...I live somewhere without any emission inspection requirement. The odds of getting caught are nil. Even then, re repercussions from ever getting caught are nothing cosmic either.

I love how they look, especially round series, like this one https://www.carid.com/2008-ford-must...parentsubmodel[]=ENGINE|4.6L
but I will not believe that they increase until I will have a chance to go on dyno and make a test like stock vs k&n

Yes, I put in a K&N air filter. Reflexive action. I didn't have it dyno'd before, nor after, so I can make no claims. 'Cept the K&N is re-usable, so I'll get my money's worth.

The K&N is an oiled filter. Get the kit sold to clean and “lightly” re-oil as directions state. Too much oil is bad. The Ford Performance (Affraid) is also cleanable but is a dry filter.
