    Ford Performance Oil Separator

I have a 2019 gt350 and have decided to install a passenger side Ford Performance Oil Separator. However, the electrical harness appears to be in the way of the rear push pin and the install instructions elude to extra mods needed to the 19-20 gt350 electrical harness with no further explanation. Has anyone installed a passenger side Ford Performance unit on their 2019 or 2020 gt350? The car is used for street only, but this seems necessary based on general consensus. Thanks

I took the Ford passenger and driver side separator off of my 16 GT350, and installed them on my 19 GT350R. No problems. You have to move the harness a little, but no additional mods needed.

Same deal on my 2018. Once installed, no need to remove for emptying. I just unscrew the top portion and suck the oil out with a turkey baster, then finish drying the bottom of the container with a blue shop towel. Be careful not to drop the screws when you take them out, you'll never find them.

I had no problems installing the separator on the passenger side. Just moved the harness a little.

I installed both sides with the Ford Performance separators. Biggest issue was getting the push pins all the way in on driver side. The look stock and I am pleased with them.

Here is something interesting. My 2017 has both sides installed. I have emptied the passenger side twice, about 3/4” of oil. The drivers side ( although oil found in the stock tube) is completely empty.

I have not had any experience with how either do on oil collection since my car currently only has 164 miles on it..

I have had mine since 900 miles on it. oil separators installed then. Driver side dry, 1/2 inch collects in passenger side over 1000 miles. My understanding is that is more than acceptable.
