Yes, I am. You’re going to catch your splitter on plenty of driveways you don’t expect. At least these are sacrificial. I also recommend backing into parking spaces with bumpers or curbs. No splitter in the rear and the camera will direct you in.

Just got my splitter washers today so going to install over weekend but wanted to ask a couple things: how far in from front have you put them? And I read something saying with self-tapping screws not to put them in too deep to go through splitter? Any experience on these?

As you can see from previous post I installed savers about 1/2-3/4” in from the lip. Screws never appeared too long for splitter, a 20 minute job, good luck.

I chose this option for looks, functionality, and simplicity of install.

The rub locations will actually be different for each driver and depends largely on the surface transitions that you typically drive over. Place them just ahead of your current scrape marks.

I actually replaced a base bumper guard with the R splitter today and that's what I did (used scrape marks on the original to guide my placement on the new splitter).

I actually had more scrapes deeper under the nose at the second line of factory "savers" so I put a couple back there, too.
